A Gwangju practice for mining cost literacy
App Grove Core is the official registered business name of our advisory practice. We were established in 2019 to help operators read profitability without outsourcing judgment to a vendor spreadsheet.
Origin
In 2019 a small group of energy-cost analysts and former facility supervisors in Gwangju began hosting evening clinics for neighbors who had bought mining machines on optimistic payback slides. Those clinics became App Grove Core: a registered advisory education practice that still prefers whiteboards and tariff PDFs over sales decks.
Mission
Teach operators to separate facility overhead from mining variable cost, to set break-even horizons they can explain aloud, and to monitor those numbers after the excitement of a new rack fades.
Working approach
We start from the meter. Hashprice cases come second. Sessions stay conversational so clients can interrupt when a number does not match the hall they walk through each morning. Follow-up writing is plain language, not a software export.
